Terms of Service for Tutors - AatiCademy

These terms and conditions apply to all tutors who accept assignments from AatiCademy through any platform. By registering as a tutor, you agree to the following terms:

• Age Requirement:

  To register as a tutor, you must be at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required.

• Registration Rights:

  AatiCademy reserves the right to reject or refuse any tutor registration.

• Accuracy of Information:

  All information you provide must be as accurate as possible. Avoid providing false or misleading information that could deceive clients or AatiCademy staff.

• Verification Rights:

  AatiCademy retains the right to deny verification to any tutor and to revoke verification at any time based on the discretion of AatiCademy coordinators.

• Camera Usage:

  Keeping the camera on during classes is mandatory for both tutors and students to facilitate an interactive learning experience. If a student does not comply, you are required to inform the parent or AatiCademy management.

• Non-Negotiable Rates:

  Once a tutoring rate is agreed upon, whether verbally or in writing, it is non-negotiable.

• Class Rescheduling for Technical Issues:

  In the event of a power outage or network issue, you must immediately notify AatiCademy management and the parent/student. Failure to do so will result in a penalty equal to half the session's fee.

• Fee Collection:

  Monthly fee installments are collected by AatiCademy, not by tutors directly.

• Payment Based on Attendance:

  Payments are based on attendance records. Misleading entries may result in forfeiture of payment for those sessions.

• Class Continuation/Discontinuation:

  Tutors are not permitted to continue or discontinue classes without AatiCademy’s consent. Doing so will forfeit any payment associated with those classes.

• Attendance Records:

  Attendance must be updated within 24 hours of each class, along with the topics covered. Failure to do so or providing inaccurate information may result in penalties or termination.

• Class Scheduling:

  Classes should be conducted according to the agreed schedule. If a client cancels or fails to show up, you must inform AatiCademy management. Any rescheduling or cancellations should be communicated to AatiCademy and the client at least three hours in advance. Failure to comply may result in a penalty equal to half the session’s fee unless a serious emergency arises.

• Tests and Reports:

  Tutors must conduct at least one test every two weeks, share monthly progress reports, and provide feedback to AatiCademy and parents. Assign homework within 2-3 hours post-class and regularly evaluate submitted homework.

• Demo Classes:

  Demo classes are unpaid but are critical to attract new clients. They should last at least 40 minutes, and the class link should be shared at least four hours before the scheduled start time.

• Professional Conduct:

  Tutors must refrain from personal activities like making calls or texting during class. Maintaining focus on the student is essential to upholding the quality and reputation of AatiCademy.

• Breach of Contract:

  Any unethical dealings or direct engagement with clients outside of AatiCademy will result in a penalty starting at ₹50,000, with the final amount determined based on the severity of the breach. AatiCademy reserves the right to adjust this penalty and pursue further legal action if necessary.

• Notice Period for Termination:

  If you wish to terminate your agreement with AatiCademy, you must serve a 60-day notice period without taking leave if you have active assignments.

• Confidentiality:

  Tutors must not share any personal information about students or parents (such as names, contact information, emails, grades, or subjects) with anyone outside AatiCademy.

• Direct Engagement:

  Engaging directly with students or their parents for financial gain, either during or after your employment with AatiCademy, is prohibited. Legal action may be pursued, and any pending payments will be forfeited. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Kolkata, West Bengal.

• Assignment of Opportunities:

  Registering with AatiCademy does not guarantee assignments. Opportunities are provided based on client demand and compatibility with tutors.

• Payment Schedule:

  Tutor payments will be processed by the 15th of each month for services rendered in the previous month.

By registering as a tutor with AatiCademy, you agree to adhere to these guidelines. You acknowledge that violating these terms may cause irreparable harm to AatiCademy, entitling the company to seek injunctive relief and other legal remedies. Adhering to these terms is crucial for delivering quality lessons. Your performance and client reviews will significantly impact your appraisal and future opportunities with AatiCademy. TERMS OF SERVICE (for Parents/Students):

At AatiCademy, our services are designed to provide maximum benefit to students, allowing them to learn effectively from the comfort of their homes with minimal distractions. We take great care in selecting our tutors through a comprehensive process involving multiple levels of tests and interviews. This ensures that our tutors are skilled, qualified, and well-prepared to guide students.

We carefully review tutor profiles and qualifications before matching them with students. To ensure a good fit, we offer demo classes and personalized interactions. If you are not fully satisfied with your assigned tutor, you may request a replacement at any time.

All online sessions are conducted with parental oversight to ensure safety. Our dedicated tutors aim to bring out the best in each student. To access our services, you will need to agree with AatiCademy. During this period, we will address any issues that may arise between the tutor and you. Once the agreement term ends, you have the option to renew if you wish to continue benefiting from our services.

PAYMENT POLICY:

• Payment Schedule:

  Tutor payments will be processed by the 15th of each month for services rendered in the previous month.

• Direct Payments:

  All payments must be made directly to AatiCademy. Engaging in direct payment arrangements with tutors is not allowed. If any such activity is detected, AatiCademy reserves the right to immediately terminate services, with no refund provided in that situation.

• Session Commitment:

  Students are expected to complete the number of sessions chosen. If a student cannot attend, it is required to notify an AatiCademy representative beforehand.

• Advance Payment:

  AatiCademy may request advance payments for sessions. In cases of nonpayment, AatiCademy reserves the right to suspend classes until payment is made.

• Rate Confirmation:

  Once a rate is agreed upon after the demo class, it is non-negotiable.

• Refunds:

  If classes are discontinued due to the tutor's unavailability, a refund will be provided for the remaining sessions.
